PintPal is operated by Julien LE BER. This Privacy Policy explains how PintPal collects, uses, and protects information when you use the PintPal mobile app and related services.

Information We Collect
Depending on how you use PintPal, we may collect the following information:
- Account information, such as your sign-in provider identifier, display name, and email address when provided through Apple, Google, or Firebase Authentication.
- App content you create or save, such as custom pints, freezer items, recipe preferences, favorite recipes, taste scores, texture notes, and nutrition targets.
- Onboarding and personalization choices, such as your Creami experience level, preferred flavors, calorie range, protein goals, and weekly pint target.
- Subscription and entitlement information, such as whether your PintPal Premium access is active. Payments are processed by Apple and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.
- Usage analytics, such as app screens viewed, onboarding completion, purchase events, recipe interactions, and feature usage.
- Device and diagnostics data, such as crash reports, performance information, app version, operating system, and device type.
- Notification-related data, such as notification permission status and push notification tokens if you enable notifications.
- Import data you choose to share with PintPal, such as TikTok or web links used to help create or save a recipe.
Subscriptions And Payments
PintPal may offer auto-renewable subscriptions such as PintPal Premium. Purchases and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. PintPal does not receive or store your full payment card details.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, purchase status, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, product identifiers, transaction status, and app user identifiers so PintPal can unlock paid features.
Subscriptions are governed by Apple's standard terms and billing controls. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Third-Party Services
PintPal uses trusted service providers to operate and improve the app. These providers may process information on our behalf:
- Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, cloud storage, and push messaging.
- PostHog for product analytics and event measurement.
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management and purchase status.
- Apple services for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, subscription management, and app distribution.
- Google services for Google sign-in where available.
These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and service terms.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these limited cases:
- With service providers that help operate PintPal.
- When required to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable government requests.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, PintPal, or others.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, if applicable.
Data Retention
We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide PintPal, support your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Some analytics, crash, and diagnostic records may be retained in aggregated or limited form for product improvement and reliability.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify account data unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing record purposes.
Children's Privacy
PintPal is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International Users
PintPal and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PintPal changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
